Well, hello, fellow LJ-ers. It is I, Kyle coming to tell you thaaaaaaat...

...

MY SUMMER HAS BEEN TOO SHORT.

Let's see... went to Dauphin Island (no winds below 30 mph- my poor hair), then to Texas for a week (yay cousin!), then to Destin, Florida (Heaven on Earth, minus the giant populace), then BACK to Texas, then... back to Texas.

And now I'm a senior in high school, who must get a job soon. Yippie Kai-yay, shitwit. *frown*

I must admit, though, I saw 1408. Great movie. 8D

Besides that... nothing has happened. NOTHING. WHY MEEEE.

Current Mood: cranky cranky

Well, it seems I haven't written to you, the readers, at all lately, so I guess I might as well fill you in on what's happened the past... ever.

Alright. Well, for the past month I've regained and lost my Guild Wars addiction. And by lost, I don't mean I don't want to play- I'm just waiting for Christmas to get the new expansion. Needless to say, lost plenty of sleep to that thing. Sadly, I get trancified when I play it, so I tended to ignore people. Sorry, people.

Then there's all the projects that I've had lately. Two of which are due Monday: a small Christmas portfolio (Easy, but I procrastinate) and a 7 page typed research paper on Vampirism, that must have a bibliography of at least 5 sources and 25 'endnotes' (harder, I guess, but again- procrastinator). As well, I pulled an all-night this past Wednesday to finish a portfolio/book review on The Great Gatsby. Then I have to do a Family Tree thing for Spanish, due Tuesday, as well as a bit of make-up American History.

Fuck.

And then there's my 'social life'. Or should I say, lack-there-of. Sure, during school I seem to be loved by many many people (practically everyone), but lately I ask myself- why? What have I done to earn their trust? How did I go from being the harassed beaten-up nerd to being a cool, goofy, all-around loved guy? Or is it, as I predict, just a front of politeness and possibly pity? And no, people of other-than-my-hometown, I don't mean you. I know you (hopefully) love me. Or so I like to believe.

To add on to this, I must add that I am the school helper- I help people with problems, I listen, I give advise if they want it or just shut up and listen if they want that. Like, just this past Tuesday, this girl I know came over to my house for practically the entire night (mainly just messing with myspace), but I ended up talking about her boyfriend (an entire other side story, which I guess I will explain).

See, what had happen wuz...Collapse )

Other than that, nothing has happened. Like, at all. Well, I did find out that Damian is hiding something from me. Like, he came to visit early, and his girlfriend, also one of my bestest friends, is waiting in his truck, because the family is over and she doesn't wish to intrude. So we go out there, talk like the crazy friends we are, then she says 'Damian lied to me'. I joke around, acting like an idiot, thinking it was just a minor thing like it usually it is. Well, after a second, she goes to say something about it and Damian cuts her off, putting a finger to her mouth, saying 'That's a conversation for another time' each time she tries to say something, and then he just abruptly tells me to go. Before I close the door, though, I hear Traci say 'You lied to him too?'

WTF.

So needless to say, I feel slightly betrayed. I mean, what the hell? I played it off by acting my goofy self as I walked inside and he left, but seriously. That's fucked up.

Oh well. Just goes to show you can't trust anyone nowadays. I'm still curious as to what it was. Looks like I'll have to pull all my grudge-holding abilities till at least next Tuesday, hopefully Wednesday, but the later the better.

[USERNAME:] [ Twilight Princess ]
[CHARACTER NAME:] Kairi
[CHARACTER AGE:] Roughly Sixteen
[CHARACTER DESCRIPTION:] Medium-length ruby hair hangs gracefully at her shoulders, half bangs frame her crystal blue eyes. Kairi's skin is tanned from the long days on Destiny Island's silver shore. A small necklace hangs around her slim neck; a tiny gold pendant hangs loosely at the end. Her clothes are a peach-pink color, a zip-up dress with a large zipper, and a black hood under her crimson hair. The outfit ends at mid-thigh, exposing her toned legs. A black belt and side pack (on her left hip) complete the outfit, along with her matching tie-up boots. (Visual)[X]
[PERSONALITY/MAIN ALLIANCE:] Kairi is a kind soul, listening intently to all of her friend's numerous problems. Before their world was destroyed, she was light-hearted and carefree - thinking only of the next day of fun in the sun. She longed to stay by her two friend's sides, but nothing good can last forever. Their island was destroyed, and her heart, taken. After that, prior to forgetting Sora's name, she became melancholy - mature. Her heart knew her place - but what she didn't understand why her heart ached.
After the three friends were reunited on Destiny Island, Kairi began to act more protective of her friends. She watched their moods and actions closely, making sure nothing ever bothered either of them. They had been through so much, and she feared that their fun-loving days would be over sooner than she had every expected.
[RACE:] Human.
[BACKGROUND/HISTORY:] Their days were long, and the nights were full of laughter - or that's how it had always been before the Island changed. Kairi was carefree, along with her two best friends (Sora and Riku) on their small Island hangout. The summer was in full-wave, and their plan for escape was well under-way. Kairi still had her reservations about the trip into the wide expanse of water, but Sora easily convinced her this was the best coarse for them. But, the night of their departure, the Heartless attacked. Kairi lost her heart to them, and became a living puppet.
Many things happened over the small amount of time she was 'gone', but soon enough, Kairi found herself lying on the floor of Hollow Bastion - witnessing Sora fall to the ground after the Dark Keyblade pierced his heart. After being reunited with him, she stayed in Traverse Town with Leon and the gang to wait for Sora to return. But, it was her who came to him in the end. At the End of the World, Kairi and Sora parted ways - Destiny Island was restored, but her friends... they were still lost in the universe somewhere.
Despite being helpless, Kairi soon found herself thinking less and less about what had happened - actually her memories seemed to be fading of... that boy faster than anything else. (Around the time when Sora's memories were being rearranged in Castle Oblivion.) Soon her memories were replaced with fake one - Riku leaving to go to another school, the time spend hanging out with Selphie at her home. But a lingering thought remained - who was that boy, and why couldn't she remember him? The school term began once more, and life returned to 'normal'. But, one beautiful day on the walk home, Kairi collapsed. A distant voice rang through her ears...
"Please, a name!"

To skip ahead a bit, Kairi met up with Axel soon after remembering Sora and the real past. Narrowly escaping capture, Kairi ran into a dark portal which teleported her into the World That Never Was. Upon entering, she and Pluto (the King's faithful companion) were seized by Organization XIII's Number Two - Saix. They were taken to a holding cell, and told to wait for Sora to find her. Well, she wasn't about to let herself become bait a second time! A strangely familiar voice rang out through the gloom, and thus appeared Namine; Kairi's darker half. Namine explained that when Kairi had turned into a heartless, she had been created, calling herself her Nobody. With her help, Kairi escaped the cell and the two of them ran down the white halls to find Sora.
Before long Namine was summoned elsewhere, avoiding the detection of Organization XIII. Kairi then made a frightening discovery - Riku's changed form. They reunited briefly before being attacked by heartless in the Base's Main Hall. It was there. after the attack, where Kairi and Sora finally were reunited. Remaining behind in the safety of the King, Kairi watched and waited on the edge of tears while the final battle between the Organization's Number One, Xemnas, played out.
The battle over, Kairi, Sora, and Riku all returned to Destiny Island. Now they wait and wonder when the next battle will begin.
[WEAPONS (OPTIONAL):] Unlike before, Kairi now has the power to use magic. She can cast simple attack spells, but she deals mostly with healing magic.
[SAMPLE POST:] The sun beat down onto the sunny sands of Destiny Island. Where the cerulean sky met the sapphire ocean was unknown - without a cloud in the sky to tell where the division was. Seagulls called merrily overhead, and the sound of the ocean waves crashing against the sand was a heavenly melody for the young girl.
Kairi sat on the edge of the dock, her bare feet dipped lazily into the warm water. Her brilliant blue eyes were up in the sky, examining the skies for any change in the beautiful weather. Nothing could change her mood: Nervous. Her delicate fingers tapped nervously against the hard wooden boards as a cool breeze drifted cautiously across her face and through her amber locks.
"Trouble in Paradise..." She stated quietly as she allowed her dark lashes to reveal the splendor before her. The days were magical here - but they couldn't last. She knew that. Now that the King had revealed the newest plot of the Organization to them, things hadn't been the same with the three friends. They were tense as they made their preparations to leave... and Kairi didn't like it. She didn't like it at all.

September 20th, 2006

Well, lemme update a bit. I'm taking place in a few RPs. Okay, no, that's a lie. I'm taking place in one RP. Would I like to take place in more? Yes. However, with my luck and, let's face it, all-around suckiness at RPing, I would kill them as well, seeing as I've killed the on I'm in. I just always seem to, every single one.

Onto more pressing matters, I broke my toe this past Saturday. I will not say how, other than I accidentally kick the corner of a door. And it's not the big toe, noooo. It's the ring-toe on my left foot. I should be getting crutches sometime soon. I know, I'm pathetic- crutches for a broken toe. But let me tell you, this thing hurts like a BITCH. Not to mention I wouldn't be late for practically every class I have.

Next issue... well, actually, that's it. Right now I just feel... I want to say depressed, but I know that's not it. It's... it's like I feel... empty. Kind of like I felt last year, just before I wrote a poem. But now... I don't have my muse. It's gone, lost in some endless darkness. Sure, I could damn near force myself to write something, but it wouldn't be as good. I don't know... Maybe I just...

I feel... alone. Empty and alone. And I know I'm not, I have friends around the entire country. Hell, at any one time of the day/night, at least 3 people on my AIM list are online. It's just... I feel that way. Maybe I need to force myself to write or something.

Soryuju Ryutetsin, signing off.

The following is for the Twilight Town RP

Character name: Xetunos

Age: 18

Personality: Cold and calculative, he is an all around sociopath, manipulating anyone that he thinks has a purpose, and has no problem getting rid of those he thinks have none. If he sees profit in temporarily helping the good guys, he'll do it, waiting until the time is right to strike. Though he appears stoic in demeanor, he is quite the brooder on the inside, trying to sort out the dreams he has of what he doesn't know is his past life.

Appearance: Imagine this except with silver hair and piercing green eyes.

Weapon: Two of this, both exactly 3 foot long; look close at the tips of the blade, they are the same length on both sides. The eyes are normally closed and only open when he exhausts himself while fighting. If this happens, the swords can and will possess him. As a Nobody, he can make the sword appear in a puff of black smoke, though to keep a low profile, he keeps them both sheathed and with him most of the time.

Special Abilities: Dark-o-synthetic xDDD. Able to manipulate dark energies because he was taught as a human. Also has control of Heartless/Nobodies.

Background: Before he became a Nobody, losing his heart and memory, he was a boy named Tsuneo, who was the twin brother of Soryuju and son of King Albert. He had led a peaceful life, training in martial arts, practicing with his swords, he was even able to learn magic from a Wingly friend of their fathers named Meru. As for what type of magic, he chose Darkness, for he was always intrigued how shadows could possibly be used offensively. Little did he know. The world of Endiness was tranquil and at peace until that one fateful night. The night the shadows stepped forth, killing anyone on sight. Though he and his brother fought back, they were failing miserably. He was trying his hardest to kill a few of them when out of the corner of his eye, he saw one of the lunge at Soryuju's back. Pushing him out the way, Tsuneo's heart was taken. When next his eyes opened, he was in a bright, white castle, wearing a black cloak, and standing infront of a group of people witht he same type of cloaks on. He had no memories of his human life, and was informed of what he now was: a Nobody.

Soryuju

After the defeat of the God of Destruction, Prince Albert, controller of the Jade Wind Dragoon spirit and ruler of the country of Serdio, went on to marry Princess Emille, who was the heir to the Tiberoan kingdom, a country bordering Serdio to the northwest. The Princess then gave birth to twins, who the named Soryuju and Tsuneo. They grew up happily together, learned martial arts, sparred with each other, and led happy lives as the Heirs to the Serdian throne. Choosing to follow in his father's footsteps, Soryuju trained with spear, javelins, and lances. However, his choice of weapon is not the same as his father's because he chose a more offensive type. Because the King was good friends with a Wingly named Meru, Soryuju and Tsuneo were both taught magics of their choice, and Soryuju chose Wind magic. Peace and unity reigned throughtout the world of Endiness, until one fateful night. The shadows came to life, and in a matter of hours, hundreds of thousands were left dead and countless others injured. Though he and his brother fought back, they couldn't help but be defeated. Just before Soryuju's heart was ripped from it's shell, Tsuneo jumped in the way, and all Soryuju could do was watch in horror as his brother's heart was ripped out. Not but a few seconds later, there was nothing but darkness. Maybe he blacked out, or maybe he died, he didn't know. But the next thing he knew, he had awakened in a large, dark, raining city with a large white castle hovering a way away. Searching for any clues he could find, he wandered the large city, hoping to find something to help him find his way home.

Before becoming a Nobody, he was a Winglyª named Tsuneo, living amongst the people of a world called Endiness. He was quiet and enigmatic, never really saying much at all. He was mostly a mercenary- whatever he was paid to do, he would do it. His heart never got in the way, because he lived by the rule of seperating business life from personal life. Life for him was fine, he couldn't complain, he was 175 years old and still very young by Wingly standards. However, fifteen years ago, the Wingly Ancestor, which was the law of the Winglies, made a pact with the current king of Serdio, one of the countries on the world, concerning the three year old prince. The Ancestor had sensed great evil that would soon come, and feared that Winglies and humans would be no match- they would need the Dragons and the Dragoons- human warriors witht he spirits of Dragons. However, Dragons had become extinct, and the Dragoons had long since disappeared off the face of the world, so he decided to fuse the Dragon Spirits into the infant prince. However, for the mere human to be able to harness and control the power of all these spirits, his body and mind would have to be enhanced significantly- using Tsuneo's blood. Being one of the strongest surviving Winglies, his blood would significantly aid in conrtolling the spirits within. However, for the blood to be accepted by the human body, an ancient ritual would have to take place. The cons of this ritual would be that Tsuneo would lose many of his strengths and abilities due to the trade of Wingly blood for human blood; however, the pros would more than compensate, for when the transfusion takes place, he would gain the Dragoon powers as well. In essence, they would become two almost complete equals.

A few month's after the transfusion, Tsuneo was still slightly weak when the great evil appeared- the Heartless. They were still few, though they were there, nonetheless. Too weak to fight back, he lost his heart during a small raid, and became the Nobody known only as Xetunos. When he awoke, he was in a foriegn land. Everything was different- there were no villages, there were no little beasts- just a rainy sky covering a seemingly endless amount of skyscrapers, with embodied darkness haunting every shadowed corner. However, he remembered everything so clearly- including the prince. As he became aware of his new surroundings and what he was, he realized he had the potential for endless power. And he knew just how to obtain it- His other half.

ª- A Wingly, in the game Legend of Dragoon, was a near extinct race with abilites far superior to that of humans. Their physical strength was greater, their speed was well over two-fold, not to mention they were the only species that could actually cast a shit load of types of magic. As well, they have magic wings in the shape of linear blue jet flames, having no winglike shape; however, for the RP we'll just say they can take whatever form the user desires. This would be the reason why I made the ritual take so much out of him- They're freaking Gods. xD At least now he's a mortal.

Being the great-grandson of King Albert, the legendary Jade Dragon Warrior of the Wind, he was prince of Serdio, though he refused to be called 'prince' by anyone. Due to his heritage, he was taught the way of using lances and spears by his father, who had been trained by his father, who had been trained by Albert himself. Also, he was able to practice the famous Rouge-school martial art, along with Wingly magic, taught by the Ancestor of the Winglies himself. Throughout his life the world of Endiness lived in peace. Even the Winglies, who had once hidden themselves in forests, now lived in harmony and equality with the humans. However, during Soryuju's eighteenth-year, the shadows came. In one swift night, they engulfed the planet with darkness. Those who did not lose their hearts within the first few hours ran, though there was nowhere to hide. The shadows were everywhere. Soryuju tried to fight back as best he could, but the last he remembers was being overcome by exhaustion, yet somehow still fighting. Then, just as a Heartless began to lunge at his chest, he blacked out-- and awoke on other world entirely.

What he doesn't know is the reason why he can use Wingly magics, unlike most humans from his world. At the age of three, a dark ritual had taken place, the effect of made him a half Wingly, along with being partly imbued with the spirits of the Dragons and a dark scar on the left side of his neck (see picture). This all remains a mystery to him, though the ritual needed two to take place...

Well, it's back again. That feeling of low self-esteem, self-hatred, and even worse... envy. Just when I thought it had gone away for good, it comes back. And I can't help but feel it. It just.. won't leave me be. Some of you may know what I'm talking about, others may not... well, for the latter, try not to worry about it. It's best you don't know.

It happened just a few minutes ago. I'd rather not give too many details because it would give away too much, but... well, let's just say all I've ever thought was true. I don't know why I tried to avoid it... I can just never amount to that. I guess I was just never meant to be as good as him. So I guess I'll just give up... I'll continue to be that guy on the side, the one that's there when you need a door-mat.

Honestly, it's not like I thought I had a chance. Maybe I was just deluding myself to believing maybe there was someway out there... but there isn't. Then again... I'm sorry, I'm just going in circles.

This isn't the only thing depressing me as of late, though. Amidst the scattered reasons would be that I just can't seem to write anymore. Not that any of it was good. People tell me my so-call 'poems' are good... I wish they would stop the pity. I hate being pitied. Just give me the damned truth and stop trying to make me feel better. By falsely raising my esteem, you're setting me up for a bigger, harder fall. If you were true friends, you wouldn't do that...

I don't know... I think... Fuck, I don't even know what to think. I've been too happy for too long... something was bound to happen... as it always does...

For those of you who read all of this, I'm sorry for putting you through such torment. I probably sound like a suicidal or something to that extent. I apologize from the bottom of my heart.
